Paula Abdul's 'sexual tension' with Simon Cowell; he 'considered it'

As part of Barbara Walters' annual "10 Most Fascinating People" special, Walters sat down with former "American Idol" and current "X Factor" judge Simon Cowell. Walters shared a clip from the interview on "The View." What about? Why, his "sexual tension" with Paula Abdul, of course.

When asked if his relationship with Abdul has changed, Cowell says, "A little bit. I mean, we obviously like each other ... we didn't like each other in the beginning. The truth was on the first two seasons, we coudn't travel on the same plane together. We really disliked each other that much."

And why was that? 

"I think it was sexual tension. On her part," says Cowell.

Walters wonders if Abdul really did want him and he goes, "A million percent."  Did he want her?

"I considered it, but then I thought ... I don't think the after would be as good as the before. I'd let her stay for a few hours, but then it would have to be good night," says Cowell.

He also tells Walters that he's told Paula this, though not quite as brazenly as he has just stated. Then ends with, "If you're watching Paula, it is true."

He is a piece of a work, huh?
